Loctite 620 - Retaining Compound - 50 ml

High Strength Adhesive

₹975.00

LOCTITE® 620 is a high-strength, high-temperature-resistant anaerobic retaining compound designed for bonding cylindrical metal components. It is particularly suitable for slip-fit and close-fitting assemblies where high strength, gap filling and elevated-temperature resistance are required.

LOCTITE 620 cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air. Once cured, it helps prevent loosening, leakage and movement caused by vibration, shock and thermal cycling. It is commonly used for retaining bushings, sleeves, bearings, locating pins, shafts, gears and pulleys.

How LOCTITE 620 Works

The adhesive is applied to the cylindrical mating surfaces before assembly. When the parts are fitted together, the product becomes confined between the metal surfaces and, in the absence of air, undergoes an anaerobic curing reaction. The cured adhesive forms a strong bond between the components, helping improve resistance to movement, vibration and leakage.

Its relatively high viscosity also allows LOCTITE 620 to accommodate larger assembly gaps than many conventional retaining compounds.
